About LJP Crafts
Our History
Prior to the creation of LJP Crafts, Jackie found her love of crafting again in 2018 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Having to take time off work she completed her online law degree and started a variety of crafting between treatments. Having been given the all clear in time for lockdown her love of crafting only grew. Jackie focused her crafts on making clothes for herself but when her dog needed a warm jacket for the winter she realised she had a talent she could share.
Markets
After making a large inventory of jewellery, cushions, trinket boxes and much more Jackie decided to work with her daughter Lisa and LJP Crafts was created. Jackie made Victorian outfits and they hit the Christmas Market scene. Meeting lovely people along the way they all asked the same thing, 'are you online?'. This inspired Jackie and Lisa to create a site on a well known online store. After the passing of a close relative, Jackie began creating memory bears for her family. This resulted in a new adventure and sales began to take off.
Memory Bears
When Jackie and Lisa saw the impact the memory bears had on their family it became clear to Jackie that she could do something that would bring her 2 main goals together. Creating beautiful items from scratch and making a positive impact on others. Having created hundreds of memory bears, Jackie ensures that each one is unique and made to a high standard to ensure memories can live on.
